Do Bangladeshi citizens need a visa for Uganda?
Bangladeshi ordinary-passport holders need a visa for a Uganda holiday. Bangladesh is not on the published ordinary-passport exemption list and appears in the inspected application nationality choices. Prepare the current travel-passport biodata page, photograph and tourism evidence. A Bangladeshi NID or birth record used for passport administration does not replace the Uganda application's passport file.

Use the issued travel passport rather than a passport application record
Bangladesh's official passport services describe identity records and correction procedures used when issuing or reissuing a passport. Those administrative records are different from the passport requested for Uganda travel. Prepare the biodata page of the valid document you will carry, not a pending passport application receipt, an NID scan or a previous passport merely because its image is already saved on your phone.
If names or dates changed during reissue, compare the issued passport with the reservations before completing the visa form. Resolve a real document discrepancy through the responsible passport service. Do not combine the new passport number with an old scan or invent an alternative name to match a booking. A Uganda application does not amend the Bangladeshi identity or passport record.

Prepare English holiday information without adding unrelated identity files
A booking or travel plan issued in Bangla should be prepared with English supporting information in line with Uganda's instructions. Check whether the document identifies the actual traveller, intended dates and accommodation. A translated package heading alone may not show the first arrival or final departure. Ask the organiser for a clearer itinerary rather than filling gaps with travel details that have not been arranged.
Upload only the evidence requested in the appropriate category fields and keep the originals available. Do not send additional NID, birth-registration or passport material through a general contact message merely to explain a preparation question. The file checker reads reported properties on your device; it does not translate a record or assess whether an identity correction was legally completed.

Planning example: The new travel passport has arrived, but the booking folder contains the previous biodata image. Build one consistent identity set before the Uganda request.

Uganda eVisa requirements for Bangladeshi passport holders
For a Tourist Visa, prepare these files and your travel details. Use the passport you will carry to Uganda. The application checklist changes when you select a different visa category.

A clear copy of the details page. Your passport needs at least six months of validity.
Recent passport photograph
A clear passport-style photograph taken within the last six months.
Return ticket
Your return flight or onward travel booking.
Accommodation and travel plan
Have your Uganda accommodation address, intended arrival date, entry point and planned stay ready. Keep booking details and a tour plan available if requested.
The live portal instructions specify JPEG, PNG, BMP or PDF, 5–250 KB per file, with supporting documents in English. Keep the original documents for travel. Further evidence may be requested.

Distinguish nationality, residence and the actual reason for travel
A Bangladeshi citizen living in the Gulf, the UK or another country should still check the passport being used for Uganda. Enter current residence separately and confirm the permissions needed to return there. Residence in a visa-exempt nationality's country is not the same as holding that nationality's passport. Each person in a household may therefore need a different passport assessment.
For the Tourist route, document a genuine visit and its accommodation and departure arrangements. If the journey concerns work, a training placement, study or another purpose, resolve the appropriate immigration category before paying. Do not change the description to tourism simply because the form is easier to complete. A private application-assistance service cannot turn an inaccurate purpose into a valid travel permission.

Review the entry order and keep one consistent document set
A Bangladeshi traveller visiting Uganda and Kenya should compare the first regional arrival with the issuing route. A Uganda-first tourism plan may fit the regional product; a Kenya-first plan requires checking Kenya's route. Repeated Uganda visits over several months are a separate Multiple Entry question. Several bookings in Uganda do not by themselves create the need for multiple international entries.
Before sending the request, inspect the final scan and booking files together with the form summary. Check the selected nationality, passport number, dates, category and total. Retain the reference from the provider handling the request and use the registered email for follow-up. Do not confuse an application acknowledgement or payment receipt with the authorisation that must be checked before travel.

No. NID or birth records used in Bangladeshi passport administration are different from the Uganda request's travel-passport evidence. Prepare the biodata page of the valid passport you intend to carry.

Which details should I use after a Bangladeshi passport reissue?

How much is a Uganda visa for Bangladeshi citizens?
Uganda Visa's total price per applicant is USD 99 for a Tourist Visa and USD 199 for an East Africa Tourist Visa. Multiple Visa costs USD 199 for 6 or 12 months, or USD 299 for 24 months. The selected total appears before you send your application.
How long does a Uganda eVisa take to process?
The review time depends on the visa category, completeness of the application and immigration checks. Submit before travel and allow time for further document requests. Your intended arrival date is not a promised decision date. Monitor the email address used for the application.

How long can I stay, and when should I use my approval?
A single-entry visit can be granted for up to three months; your issued permission controls the actual stay. Uganda Immigration says the approval authorisation must be used within 90 days of approval. The travel window and the stay granted are different. Read both before departure.
