Do Turkish citizens need a visa for Uganda?
Turkish ordinary-passport holders need a visa for a Uganda holiday. Uganda lists a separate diplomatic-passport arrangement for Turkey, and Türkiye's foreign ministry also distinguishes diplomatic treatment. Do not apply that arrangement to an ordinary tourist passport. The application uses the nationality label Turkey; use the details of the passport you will carry, even if the country is written as Türkiye elsewhere.

Use the ordinary-passport rule rather than a diplomatic arrangement
A search result describing visa-free travel for Turkish diplomatic passport holders is not an assessment for every Turkish traveller. Read the category on the actual passport before starting a paid request. Uganda's exemption page separates ordinary nationalities from diplomatic and official arrangements; the Turkish foreign ministry's country list is another source to compare for the named document type.
If you hold a special, service, diplomatic or replacement document, ask about its precise treatment instead of selecting an ordinary-passport route by colour or by a friend's experience. Describe the purpose accurately. A private holiday and an official assignment raise different questions, and an online upload field accepting a document does not decide whether an exemption or a particular entry permission applies.

Keep Turkey, Türkiye and the passport identity consistent
This website's Uganda nationality selection uses Turkey, matching the inspected immigration choice list. That English label does not mean you should change the traveller's nationality or the passport details. Choose Turkish nationality for a Turkish passport, enter residence separately, and check the resulting selection on the review screen. Someone living in Türkiye on another passport needs that document's assessment.
Compare all given names and the surname with the biodata page before copying a booking label into the application. Turkish letters or a name shortened by an airline can create a question about field entry. Follow the form's instructions and ask about a mismatch before payment; do not create a different name or an invented spelling merely to make two documents look alike.

Read the actual arrival and border crossings on the ticket
A ticket issued in Türkiye may include a connection before Uganda. Distinguish remaining in an airport transit area from entering another country and confirm the rules for that stop separately. Use the intended Uganda arrival in the application rather than automatically copying the date on the first departure. A long or overnight journey can put those events on different calendar dates.
For a Uganda-first holiday continuing to Kenya or Rwanda, compare the regional visa and prepare a clear itinerary. If the holiday first enters Kenya, check the Kenya issuing route. Several stays within Uganda do not create repeated international entries; returning to Uganda after a separate country visit needs a different entry check. The product should describe the journey, not just a tour's marketing name.

Prepare the final English files before reviewing the total
Use readable passport and photograph files and keep the accommodation details, travel plan and return or onward booking available. Prepare English supporting information in accordance with the Uganda upload instructions. When a reservation is in Turkish, inspect the names and dates as well as the translated description. Reopen the exported attachment to ensure that reducing its size has not made important details unreadable.
Before sending the request, review the selected category and total and resolve missing documents through support. Keep a reference for the provider you used, then distinguish any request acknowledgement from the immigration authorisation. Türkiye's consular assistance and Uganda's immigration decision are separate responsibilities. The appropriate channel depends on whether the question concerns a Turkish document, this service or an official Uganda application.

Why does the nationality field show Turkey instead of Türkiye?
Turkey is the label in the inspected Uganda application choices. Select it for the Turkish travel passport and keep the actual passport details unchanged. Your country of residence is entered separately.

Should I change a Turkish name to match a shortened airline booking?
Prepare the application from the passport. Compare every name field and resolve a mismatch or character-entry question before payment. A shortened reservation label is not a reason to invent a different passport identity.

Does buying a tour in Türkiye determine the regional issuing country?
No. Check where you first enter the participating region. For the Uganda route offered here, that first entry is Uganda. A Kenya-first or Rwanda-first holiday requires checking the relevant issuing-country route.

How much is a Uganda visa for Turkish citizens?
Uganda Visa's total price per applicant is USD 99 for a Tourist Visa and USD 199 for an East Africa Tourist Visa. Multiple Visa costs USD 199 for 6 or 12 months, or USD 299 for 24 months. The selected total appears before you send your application.
How long does a Uganda eVisa take to process?
The review time depends on the visa category, completeness of the application and immigration checks. Submit before travel and allow time for further document requests. Your intended arrival date is not a promised decision date. Monitor the email address used for the application.

How long can I stay, and when should I use my approval?
A single-entry visit can be granted for up to three months; your issued permission controls the actual stay. Uganda Immigration says the approval authorisation must be used within 90 days of approval. The travel window and the stay granted are different. Read both before departure.
